Ireland's tidiest towns unveiled

Emly, Co. Tipperary is Ireland's tidiest town. The South Tipperary village was chosen from 720 entrants from all over Ireland. The awards took place in Royal Hospital Kilmainham on 7th September and on the day many other towns took home awards too. Among them, Tallanstown was awarded the Repak sponsored 'Best Presented Bring Bank Award'. This award recognises the effort of towns throughout Ireland to keep their bring banks clean and tidy. Repak also sponsors the Regional Award. There are 7 regions in the TidyTowns competition, for the full list of winners click here.
Well done to everyone who took part in TidyTowns this year and congratulations to all the finalists and winners!
